Paul Burt, O.D.
Dr. Paul Burt has been practicing optometry in greater Rock Hill since 2003. Dr. Burt graduated cum laude from Franciscan University in 1997, attended Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) for pre-med, and earned his Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University, graduating with academic and clinical honors in 2003.
Dr. Burt completed additional training at Indiana University Eyecare Clinics, the Veterans Administration Hospital of Indianapolis, and with Indiana Eye Surgeons in Indianapolis.
In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, Dr. Burt evaluates and treats eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, lazy eye, dry eye, eye allergies, and headaches.
As an eye doctor, he also specializes in contact lens fittings for astigmatism, presbyopia, and keratoconus, as well as pediatric eye examinations for preschool and toddlers.
He has received awards for Optometric Practice Management and is past president of the local Catawba Optometric Society.
Dr. Burt and his wife Natalie live in Tega Cay. When not chasing around their four children, he enjoys guitar playing, wine tasting, rock climbing, and involvment in his local church.
